The first FISU University World Cup Combat Sports in history. As part of the concept, a number of new sports will make their debut in 2022 being combined into a single block. The first FISU University World Cup Combat Sports will see the world's best university athletes battle it out in six sports, namely: Boxing, Karate, Muaythai, Sambo, Wrestling and Wushu.
