Wednesday 10th August, we'll be running a club night. This is a really fun night, we're students and parents get to meet all the other club members. We kick off at 5.30pm, with a short demonstration and then training taken by myself and the High-Performance students. We’ll then split into groups for some fun challenges and games covering different aspects of Karate. There'll be some leaderboards and prizes for different age categories!
The training will be followed by a quick chat about the direction and goals of the club and then a committee meeting. At Toatakai, we are wanting to create a strong club community, and a big part of that is getting parents involved. Clubs like ours are only as strong as our support from members and their parents. There is no pressure, but if you would like to get a little more involved, learn a bit about the club and our goals, or even have ideas to put forward, we’d really appreciate if you stay on a bit afterwards for the committee meeting.
Beginner students in the 3.30pm and 4.30pm classes, please feel free to do just your normal class, come later for the club night, or even do both!
